California State Parks Foundation will be hosting a special Earth Day Climate Action workday at Candlestick Point State Recreation Area. This special workday will focus on invasive plant removal that will help our urban state park become more climate resilient in the face of the ever-present threats of climate change.
Earth Day is widely recognized as the largest secular observance in the world, marked by more than a billion people every year as a day of action to change human behavior and create global, national, and local policy changes.
We hope you will join us in celebrating our Earth and state parks. Because together we can preserve and protect our state parks now, and for generations to come.
